Transformation & Data Analytics – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. The team you’ll be part of:

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
Our team MN RAN RD RF OTQ builds and maintains small-to-large data analytics and visualization solutions for business use and analyzes diverse data sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the team, you will:

• Deliver and maintain critical analytical solutions, e.g., preparation of data sets for exploration and visualization as well as a selection of analytical methods and tools adequate to properties of the analyzed systems and data sets
• Prepare high-quality reports and presentations and present data analysis workflow and results to management and colleagues

REQUIRED SKILLS

You should have:

• Status of student in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Econometrics or a similar area
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to analyze extensive, complex, multi-dimensional data sets with a variety of analytics methods (math, statistics, machine learning, etc.) and software tools (e.g., scripting in Python/ Matlab)
• Ability to visualize the analysis results via Power BI and other Business Intelligence tools
• Familiarity with database technologies and querying languages
• Collecting business requirements related to data analysis and data-based insights generation
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical, problem solving and synthesis skills
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn fast
• Team player
